Mountain, in my words
The Fennas word for mountain is mendh. The Indo-European root mendh- means to learn. Mendh was a King of the Isle of Man about 600 AD.
How did I come up with this word? The Welsh word for mountain is mynydd, the Breton word for island is menez, the Irish word for island is sliabh.
