Wool, in my words

lagn : wool

The Fennas word for wool is lagn. Lagn is a rare last name. In Bresciano (a northern Italian language) lagn means lament.

The Welsh word for wool is gwlan, the Irish word for wool is olann, and the Breton word for wool is gloan.

  1. Yes, that's right. Wool is laine in French. It's lana in Spanish.

Maybe I was subconsciously thinking of that when I made my word. Not just taking the common letter of l.
