The Fennas word for key is alchaer. Alchaer (or Al-Chaer) is an unusual last name.

How did I come up with this word? The Welsh word for key is allwedd, the Irish word for key is eochair, and the Breton word for key is alc'hwez.

The c'h in Breton isn't like ch in English, it's like ch in German.
